- Pay: £83.50 per day minimum
- Location: Merthyr Tydfil.
- Hours: Ad Hoc, Short Term and Long Term - Part time between the hours of Monday to Friday 830am - 330pm

The role: What you'll be doing as a ASD Teaching Assistant
- Supporting and supervising learners with with Autistic Spectrum Disorder
- Assisting learners at the start of the school day and when leaving at the end of the day
- Assisting staff members in preparing the classroom for a lesson
- Working with learners in small groups and or working 1:1 with children with additional needs
- Support the class teacher in the delivery of the lessons
- Assist learners at break time with their lunch
- Engage learners with both classroom and out-of-classroom activities
- Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies
The candidate: What you'll need to be successful as a ASD Teaching Assistant
- At least 3 months experience of working with children in schools, nurseries or childcare settings - experience within an ASD setting would be beneficial
- Registration with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
- References covering the last two years (no gaps)
- Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
