As a Chef within Thrive Childcare, you will join our long-standing, experienced teams to deliver every day with passion.

As part of our mission to create a better world, we provide settings optimised for children to learn, explore and be happy.

Ideally you will already have experience as a cook/chef with qualifications, but we will consider applicants without formal qualifications but have experience of working in a familiar setting or just really passionate about cooking good homemade wholesome food for children

As a Nursery Chef, you will:


  • Prepare exciting, nutritious meals for our lovely children, through promoting healthy eating

Ensure Health and Safety measures are maintained throughout the food process from purchase to service

Maintain the kitchen to a high standard

Oversee all kitchen operations, making sure that all kitchen facilities are safe and clean to use

Accomidate for any special dietry or nutrition requirmenets.


Holyrood Castleton is based near Castleton Train Station, perfect for those who travel by public transport Our nursery has spacious, bright areas dedicated to each stage of development from 3 months to 5 years of age.

As a Nursery Cook, you will love spending time with our amazing children in a safe and secure environment We also offer any additional training to help you develop your career in the Early Years industry.
