Elevation Recruitment Group is collaborating with a manufacturing company located in North Lincolnshire or Sheffield to hire a skilled Homologation Type Approvals Coordinator.

The Homologation Approvals Coordinator will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's Vehicle Approval Homologation, working closely with the Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA) and other relevant bodies to acquire and manage various vehicle Type Approvals.

Our client is in search of an individual with a sharp attention to detail and excellent communication skills, capable of fostering positive relationships with staff, clients, and suppliers.

Duties of the Approvals Coordinator include:

  • Managing, auditing, and maintaining the Vehicle Approval Systems (Homologation Type Approval)
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and cooperating with the certification body (VCA)
  • Preparing Information Folders as requested by approval entities
  • Collaborating with design teams to secure necessary drawings
  • Inputting product specifications and development to ensure design compliance
  • Overseeing component lists and conducting audits
  • Developing, managing, and upkeeping Operating Procedures
  • Offering assistance in creating the production control plan
  • Logging all vehicle weighing activities to establish averages
  • Generating VIN plate labels as needed
  • Participating in all external audits

  • Solid background in Commercial Vehicles
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Awareness of the importance of confidentiality
