We are a reputed Lift Service, Installation, and Repair company centrally located in Bristol and are expanding our lift service portfolio. Currently, we have a position open for a dedicated Lift Technician/Tester based in the Manchester region.

Lift Technician Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support across the business
  • Assist other engineers with technical challenges
  • Collaborate with manufacturers as needed
  • Convey technical details to key stakeholders
  • Test lifts for modernization and new installations
  • Deliver technical support within the business
  • Attend to breakdowns and faults
  • Produce comprehensive technical reports
  • Communicate with site personnel to evaluate lift status
  • Ensure electrical safety of lifts
  • Commission lifts according to agreed specifications
  • Take measurements and complete necessary documentation
  • Keep records of maintenance, repairs, and test reports
  • Maintain lift well security and ensure safety during testing
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and nurture client relationships

Key Requirements:

- NVQ4 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Essential NVQ3 in Lift Engineering
- Full UK Driving License
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Skilled in independent and team-oriented work
- Experience in a lift technician or tester role
