We are looking for a Chief Accountant to join our team in Barnet, offering a competitive daily rate. As the Chief Accountant, your main responsibility will be to oversee the closure of the Accounts team, ensuring timely production of accounts and notes in compliance with statutory requirements. You will serve as a crucial link between the client and external auditors.

  • Manage a team of 3 Finance Managers responsible for capital accounting and the closedown timetable
  • Act as the key interface between the closing team, finance, and other council departments
