The Role:

The In Life Change (ILC) Delivery Lead will lead a Service Family responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of in-life changes related to Smart DCC services, ensuring timely completion within budget and meeting quality standards. Collaborating closely with the Product Manager, the Delivery Lead will strategically plan for future changes, aligning with overall business objectives and driving efficiency through a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Lead the in life change delivery within a Service Family in the DCC technical landscape.
  • Advocate for a set of products and services grouped under a 'Service Family'.
  • Collaborate with the Demand Lead to forecast in life change requirements for optimal team sizing.
  • Challenge and optimize the backlog and roadmap for In Life Change in alignment with the Product Manager.
  • Ensure effective relationships with third-party vendors and drive performance.
  • Coordinate thorough testing of changes before deployment.
  • Participate in governance forums to update stakeholders on product changes.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the delivery team.

What We Look For:

  • Experience in critical national infrastructure or complex engineering environments, preferably in the Technology, Media & Telecoms sector.
  • Technical expertise in Smart Meters to effectively engage with Operations and Technical Architects.
  • Proven leadership experience in a matrix environment or as a Delivery Lead, overseeing IT change initiatives.
  • Experience in delivering infrastructure changes and managing mission-critical products or services.
