If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant with a strong understanding of how a Theatre operates then we have just the role for you.

We are looking for a Theatre Healthcare Assistant to join our busy Theatre team in our Devizes Hospital.

About the Role
You will be a vital member of the Theatre team, you provide support to the qualified staff, ensuring a safe and effective clinical service is provided to all users across the Theatre

To provide a patient focused service within the unit, expanding the role appropriately under supervision and guidance of a trained nurse


This will include ensuring documentation is kept up to date and liaising with other providers and the wider team at the hospital.

You will also take responsibility for booking pre-assessment appointments.

About You:

Who we're looking for
The role involves direct contact with patients and their families on a physical and psychological level and therefore you need to be empathetic, friendly and have with good interpersonal skills as well as;

  • Experience in a Theatre environment
  • The ability to promote safe patient care
  • The ability to recognise and give priority to the needs of patients while maintaining respect, dignity and having an individualised approach to patient services
