Foyle Haven - Day Centre

Foyle Haven operates as a day service and outreach service, where individuals experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness, experiencing substance use issues, mental health issues and other complex issues can access practical assistance and support to reduce harm and ensure safety.

Practical assistance provided includes hot meals, access to shower and laundry facilities and a programme of regular social activities for adults experiencing the above.


You'll need:

  • A minimum 6 months full time work experience or 1 years volunteering experience supporting vulnerable people
  • An awareness of health and safety responsiblities withhin a residential setting
- competent IT skills
- ability to be flexible to meet the varying needs of the service users
- knowledge and experience of assessing needs and risk with the ability to develop/maintain specific and targeted service user support plans
- commitment to the ethos of Depaul
