Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement ageappropriate lesson activities for children in the early years
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
  • Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's development

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting desirable, however training will be given.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
