About the Pub


The Nelson is ideally situated just a 5-minute walk from the centre of Burnham Market village and well respected in the area for its strong food offering.

The pubs trade is made up of both locals and visitors making use of the accommodation onsite, particularly during April-August.

Internally, the Nelson comprises a comfortable bar, together with an intimate restaurant which is supported by a fully equipped trade kitchen.

The seven highly modern, en-suite bedrooms with a storage and laundry room really compliment the pub making it one of the most attractive in North Norfolk.

Externally, the pub has had a recent refurbishment including an extensive garden scheme providing huge opportunity for increasing external dining and drinking occasions and giving the pub an inviting kerb appeal.

The patio area is adjacent to the pub entrance and has car parking for approximately 20 vehicles.

The main customer trade is made up of locals to Burnham Market and the surrounding villages and towns for its food offerings.

However, the accommodation generates a lot of business in the summer months from holidaymakers and tourists visiting sites such as Lord Nelson's birth place at the nearby Burnham Thorpe.

Set in the market town of Burnham Market, just a short distance from the main A149 and Norfolk coastline. The area is famous for its wildlife, and wide open spaces including some of the best coastal country walks. Several well-known golf courses can also be found close by.
