Role Description

This is a full-time role as our Purchasing Manager at Fire Protection Online Ltd. You will need a passion for driving purchasing efficiency with a proven record of achieving cost and stock level improvements.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing a diverse product range consisting of over 3000 products
  • Introducing procurement systems and tools to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
  • Developing supplier relationships to improve the supply chain
  • Managing inventory and demand forecasting to optimise stockholding
  • Ongoing evaluation and improvement of procurement and the supply chain delivering measurable improvements
  • Preparing and delivering to senior management monthly reports including key metrics agreed with the management team.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements

Qualifications

You will be qualified to degree level (preferably with a professional certification in procurement or supply chain) and at least 3 years procurement management experience of global sourcing, show excellent negotiation skills and a track record of delivering change and achieving success in procurement and the supply chain.
