Salary:
£29,960.00 per annum, increasing to £33,671.83 after probation, plus either a company vehicle or £4,000 vehicle allowance per annum

Purpose of the job


Reporting to the Head of Property, the jobholder will be responsible for undertaking both responsive and planned maintenance tasks to properties within the business.

You will be required to carry out repair/installation as necessary.

This role involves working from home with daily travel to carry out repairs and maintenance in the properties where Service Users reside.


Responsibilities:

Procedures

Carry out tasks in occupied and empty properties such as the following:

Plumbing:
Carry out a range of plumbing repairs and minor installations.

Carpentry:

Carry out a range of carpentry and joinery repairs and installations including installation and/or repair of various windows, doors and frames, UPVC components, framed ledged & braced, ledged and braced and internal plywood doors; fences, soffits, fascia and bargeboards.

Joinery work including the fitting of and/or repair to architraves, skirting bath panel and frames, the fitting of kitchen units and worktops, the fitting and repair of double-glazed units, locks, floorboards, and stud walls.


Plastering:
Patch plastering

Groundwork:
Carry out a range of groundwork, fencing and clearance repairs and renewals
Other duties as deemed reasonable by the Head of Property Services.

Connect and Collaborate

Work closely with your line manager and team members
Collaborate with others, attending meetings as required
Supporting team members and provide on-the-job training
Provide cover for other staff as agreed by line manager

Responsive

Ensure all records are maintained and kept up-to-date according to company policies and procedures

Talented

Monitor own work levels, progress and development in the role
Undertake all core learning and development programmes as required
Undertake relevant learning according to agreed Personal Development Plan
