Blue Arrow are seeking an industrial cleaner in Inverness on a temporary ongoing contract.

As an industrial cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in our manufacturing facility. Your job will involve various cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and wiping down surfaces. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for our employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clean and sanitize surfaces, floors, and equipment using appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Collect and dispose of waste in designated containers.

Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers.

Report any maintenance issues to the maintenance team promptly.

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

Perform routine cleaning tasks on a daily basis.

Notify management of any supplies that need restocking.

Follow all company policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:
Prior experience in an industrial cleaning role is advantageous but not essential.

Ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Good communication skills.

Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

High school diploma or equivalent.
