Job Details:

  • Salary Scale: £28,900 FTE pro rata - £3,083 per annum (based on 4hrs weekly)

Reporting to:

Senior Lead CYP

Contract: 12 months fixed term with the potential for extension

Working Pattern: 4 hours on Wednesdays (3:00pm - 7:00pm)

We are in search of a Support Coordinator to join our Herts Haven Café team.


About the Project:

Hertfordshire Mind Network offers early intervention support to children and young people facing mental health challenges in Hertfordshire.

Our services include psychoeducational workshops, open access, 1:1 and group support.

We are expanding to provide drop-in community support to 10-18-year-olds in the county who need immediate mental health assistance.

This initiative aims to offer timely and person-centered support in a trauma-informed manner.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Instill HMNs values within the Herts Haven Cafe Service
  • Develop and deliver high-quality CYP mental health support services
  • Ensure effective communication within the team
  • Deliver 1:1 and group interventions creatively
  • Recognize signs of deteriorating mental health and take appropriate action
  • Liaise with relevant agencies when necessary
  • Signpost and refer individuals to suitable services
