Plant Coordinator

Coinford is a groundworks and concrete frame specialist that delivers contracts ranging from £1million to £50million throughout London and the South East of England.

As a Plant Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective movement of sweepers and operator plant equipment to and from construction sites, while adhering to health and safety regulations.

• Managing a fleet of sweepers.
• Efficient operational control of sweepers & drivers.
• Live monitoring and overview of daily sweeper operations.
• Ensuring excellent communication between all departments.
• Ensuring sweeper fleet PMI's & repairs and maintained.
• Management of daily legal documentation.
• Arranging subcontractor sweepers when required.
• Ensuring that health and safety regulations are always adhered to.
• Managing a team of drivers, including driver records, licence checks and training.
• Managing drivers' hours compliance.
• Assisting with operated plant operations.
• Assisting the Transport Manager with FORS accreditations.
• Keeping backoffice systems updated on a daytoday basis.

• Absolute minimum GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics

• Transport Manager CPC qualification advantageous.
• Have a strong understanding of transport legislation.
• Proven experience in sweeper management, ideally within the construction industry.
• Knowledge of FORS requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Full driving license.
