The Opportunity

Are you seeking a position with a global organization that prioritizes its employees in every aspect? Rotork, a global organisation, is actively hiring Field Service Technicians in the Midlands region.

This pivotal role involves delivering essential service plans to our customers and their sites, addressing various technical faults, and executing planned maintenance for our products.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be an integral part of a national Field Service Engineering Team, providing swift and effective solutions to customer issues.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for identifying faults, conducting repairs, testing and modifying actuators in the field.

You will also handle mechanical and electrical installations of actuators, along with associated retrofit adaptations of components, pedestals, and drive shafts.

Accurate and technical site visit reports for each job completion are a key component of this role.

This opportunity is ideal for a determined problem-solver who approaches troubleshooting logically and possesses the flexibility to travel extensively, including overnight stays.


Experience Requirements:
Technical experience and/or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators and digital control systems or related equipment
Good understanding of basic electronics, electrical and fluid power theories.
Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and utilization of common test and calibration tools.
Experience of working in a practical engineering environment.

The Successful Candidate:
Demonstrates the ability to work in stressful situations with difficult clients who are focused on an expeditious resolution.
Has a 'can do' attitude
Full Valid Driving License
