THE ROLE - Marina Assistant:


Nestled in a sheltered bay at the southern end of the loch's western shore, our Marina's stunning location is dominated by the skyline of Ben Lomond.

Its unbeatable location and impressive facilities are unrivalled by any marina resort in the UK. We have 234 berths and can accommodate boats from 16 to 50 feet.

We offer guests everything from family cruises to exclusive private hire, with a trip on our Celtic Warrior adding extra sparkle to a special occasion.


Reporting to the Marina Manager you will be part of a fun, highly driven team who work together to provide an unrivalled experience for our members and guests.


Key things you will be responsible for

  • Daily Jetty checks
  • Serving fuel
  • Crewing Motor Yacht/ Speedboat
  • General upkeep and cleaning of Marina facilities and equipment
  • Reception and administration
  • Retail sales and promotion of activity experiences
  • Reporting maintenance issues
  • Presentation and cleanliness in your department.
  • Checking satisfaction and handling additional requests and member and guest feedback
  • Capturing guest preferences and special requests
  • Billing, and payments
  • Requisitions and secure handling of stock

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:

  • National 5 Qualifications in English and Maths or SVQ Level 2 in Hospitality/Tourism /Activity Leadership or equivalent qualifications
  • RYA Powerboat Level 2 Certificate/PWC Certificate/RYA VHF Operators Licence/RYA First Aider Course, or equivalent qualifications an advantage
  • Experience in yacht crewing or within a marina environment desirable
  • Great interpersonal skills with an ability to confidently interact at all levels
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic IT skills and ability to use hand held technology
