The Band 4 Administrator position is available for a highly organised, motivated and enthusiastic person and is located at Addenbrookes Hospital, Liaison Psychiatry within the Adult and Specialist Administration Hub.

The post holder will provide a comprehensive supervision and administrative service for the liaison psychiatry team.

  • Supervise a team of administrative staff including undertaking appraisals, supervision, training and development and Band 3 and Band 2 staff
  • Allocate and supervise administration tasks delegated to other members of the administration team
  • Work with Line Manager to lead on the introduction and proactive management of any new processes and initiatives
  • Word processing of all forms of correspondence, reports and summaries that are required by the team.
  • Undertake diary management for clinicians and/or managers, as required.
  • Organise clinics and associated appointments for clinics, using appropriate brought forward systems to manage work.
  • Inputting and updating service user information and service user/team activity on computerised information systems, creating service user notes where necessary and according to policy.
