Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers in understanding and utilizing AWS services like Athena, Glue, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, NoSQL, RDS, Amazon EMR, and Amazon Redshift
  • Conduct technical engagements on-site with customers, tailoring Data & Analytics service offerings to meet their requirements
  • Utilize AWS services to back new distributed computing solutions spanning private and public cloud services
  • Manage migration of existing applications and development of new applications on AWS cloud services

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • Advanced experience in IT platform implementation in a technical and analytical role
  • Hands-on experience in Data Lake/Hadoop platform implementation and performance tuning
  • Familiarity with Apache Hadoop ecosystem and related tools e.g., Sqoop, Flume, Kafka, etc.
  • Proficiency in developing software code in languages like Java, Python, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or Mathematics
  • Experience leading large-scale global data warehousing and analytics projects
  • Strategic thinking on business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise setting
  • Collaboration skills across different organizations
  • Industry expertise in areas like data warehousing, data sciences, and implementing AWS services
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior personnel on project management and risk mitigation

Required Certification:
  • AWS Data Analytics and/OR AWS Solution Architect and/OR AWS Security
