We are on the lookout for a skilled Head of Quality to join our accomplished Quality team. In this role, you will be entrusted with overseeing the overall quality operations, including the development, management, and enhancement of the quality management system, all while ensuring adherence to customer, regulatory, and statutory standards. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), you will also champion six sigma and problem-solving initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities as our Head of Quality:

Quality Monitoring:

  • Identify opportunities for enhancing quality and reducing costs associated with errors.
  • Utilize SPC and control plans to promote a culture of precision and excellence.
  • Demonstrate project management skills to achieve strategic goals aligned with VOB/VOC.

Leadership:

  • Inspire and engage staff to uphold customer satisfaction criteria.
  • Implement improvements to elevate Quality standards and company reputation.

Compliance and Regulations:

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety, and quality standards.
  • Stay updated on regulatory modifications and adjust processes accordingly.

Documentation and Training:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and provide training on Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Train employees on Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques.

Problem Resolution:

  • Promote problem-solving strategies and lead investigations into root causes.
  • Implement corrective actions using DMAIC and other problem-solving methods.

Customer Communication:

  • Lead customer interactions to demonstrate effective quality control measures.
  • Convey process updates, modifications, and performance metrics to stakeholders.

Budget Management:

  • Create business cases for investments and cost-saving initiatives.

Continual Improvement:

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage employee contributions.
  • Manage process changes effectively to drive improvement.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience in auditing and regulatory compliance within the Automotive sector.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing Techniques and ISO/QMS.
  • Background in Manufacturing from Automotive, Heat treatment, or Aerospace domains.
  • Proficiency in Quality Management Systems and tools like MS Office 360 and Minitab.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Quality leadership role.
  • Previous experience in audits, including IATF and customer audits.
  • Experience managing a team of at least 5 members.
  • Prior involvement in Automotive manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma certification.
  • Qualifications in Leadership and Management.
