The Role: We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our team as the Head of Finance for our Concessions and BarBurrito brands. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the financial direction and strategic decision-making process of our concessions division. You will work closely with the Central Ops Director, Executive Team, and other key stakeholders to drive financial performance, support growth initiatives, and ensure operational excellence. What you'll do:
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting cycle for the division, presenting alongside the Operations Director directly to the Group CFO and CEO.
  • Take ownership of sales, food costs, wage costs, and general P&L management to achieve budgeted targets.
  • Monitor revenues and costs against budget or forecast weekly, initiating remedial action and processes as needed.
  • Produce capital appraisals and post-implementation reviews for significant capital projects as the business expands internationally or into new opportunities.
  • Provide key input into pricing decisions across the business.
  • Lead one analyst to effectively business partner with the Managing Director, and all of the Executive Team, to both support and challenge them in equal measure, assisting in making the right, data-driven decisions.
  • Deliver monthly financial results to the MD and Executive Team, as well as the Group CEO and CFO, and deputize for the Concessions MD when necessary.
What we're looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Experience in the hospitality industry or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing budgets, forecasting, and delivering financial results.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and contribute to business growth initiatives.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis software.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience from working in a commercial finance role
  • Credible and capable, able to quickly build the confidence and trust of a highly qualified and intellectually powerful executive team
  • Confident, personally resilient and able to withstand working under the pressure in a performance-driven culture
  • Experience of FP&A in a multi-site business is essential
