Yard Operative:

Working alongside the maintenance team to assist with the clean and prep of machinery - this will include equipment such as shredders, material handling equipment, wheeled loaders, material separators etc.

Load / unloading vehiclesMaintain records and keep up to date accordingly Manage any damage recharges to equipment upon return to the yard Arrange equipment, load and unload vehicles and sort equipment upon return to the yardKeep track of stock and assess/report incoming stock accuratelyMaintain a clean and safe yard and storage areasTo be successful as the Yard Operative you may have previously worked in positions such as a Driver/Fitter, Yard Assistant, Van Driver or a Labourer.

You may have also had previous experience within the Plant Hire, Tool Hire, Builders Merchants and/or other related sectors.
