JOB TITLE:
OFFICE SECRETARY




RESPONSIBLE TO:
DIRECTOR


MAIN DUTIES
Supporting senior management with resolving various issues within the business. This includes customer service, supplier management and HR.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Processing all customer orders.
  • Communicating and confirming deliveries with customers
  • Communicating any potential delivery issues with customers
  • Chasing and resolving supplier raw material issues
  • Writing HR letters.
  • Checking and approving internal documents.
  • Taking minutes in staff disciplinary and grievance hearings
  • Arranging meetings for directors
  • Any other ad hoc needs to support the business as directed by senior management.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Must have strong attention to detail.
  • Must have confident telephone manner.
  • Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft excel and word.
  • Must be neat and conscientious.
  • Takes pride in work and appearance.
  • Degree educated would be preferred.
  • Helpful and caring nature
  • Energy with an ability to work under pressure.

HOURS OF WORK
8:30am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday

SALARY
Up to £14 per hour

20 days holiday
