  • MEICA experience is crucial, with knowledge of managing the installation of large flood gates being a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in using NEC4 contracts and Microsoft Project scheduling tool is necessary. Familiarity with CDM regulations and the 'CDM Client' role is essential.
  • Responsibilities include defining, documenting, and safely executing a single major project, as well as identifying, assessing, and managing project risks.
  • Support the Project Executive in managing stakeholder relationships at a senior level, seeking assistance when needed.
  • Manage both internal and external relationships appropriately.
  • Participate in Project Boards and Strategic Directors Boards and act as the PE's number 2 as necessary.
  • Accurately estimate costs, timescales, and resource requirements for successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain realistic project and quality plans, tracking progress against the plan and providing regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Oversee the change control procedure to ensure that changes are properly captured, assessed for impact, and approved.
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed within planned cost, timescale, and resource budgets.
  • Provide strong leadership to the project team and take action when performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
  • Collaborate with supply chain partners such as Atkins, Kier, and Arcadis.
