This is a great opportunity for a Supply Planner to join an established and innovative food business in Central London.

This role involves overseeing the efficient movement of products from their warehouses to retailers and wholesalers.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and excel in building and maintaining robust customer relationships to enhance their service delivery.

Additionally you will be responsible for monitoring service levels and resolving order and invoice discrepancies.

Responsibilities:


Lead the planning efforts of a designated product category, encompassing both daily and longer-shelf-life items, to optimize customer service and minimize waste.nCultivate strong relationships with suppliers to proactively manage issues and ensure seamless transitions between products and artwork.nCollaborate with co-manufacturers to enhance service levels while maintaining manufacturing efficiency and cost control.nWork closely with internal teams such as demand planning and component/ingredient planners.nAssist in the monthly stock reconciliation process to ensure accurate inventory accounting.nConduct supplier performance analysis, focusing on cost management and negotiation when necessary.


Desired experience:


Proficient in analytical skills and Microsoft Excel.nStrong organizational abilities and effective communication skills for team collaboration and supplier interactions.nPrevious experience in supply planning, particularly within short shelf life categories, is advantageous.nSelf-driven with the ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving business environment.nProactive mindset, adept at anticipating and resolving issues.nCapable of working under pressure to meet targets and deadlines.nOpen-minded and flexible with a positive, can-do attitude to thrive in our ever-changing business landscape.
