In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining top-notch plant sanitation and housekeeping standards in line with Company policies and legal requirements.
This position also offers potential growth within the Food Safety team, both locally and at a corporate level, with exposure to our European team. You will be based at our Wrexham Plant and will enjoy great benefits, including an annual bonus, 53rd-week payment in December, generous holiday allowance, leading pension scheme, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to onsite sanitation and housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Master Sanitation Schedule: Develop, maintain, and enhance the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
- Pest Management: Assist with pest control activities and address any pest-related issues promptly.
- SSOPs: Develop, maintain, and refine SSOPs for plant-wide cleaning operations.
- Cleaning Documentation: Create and improve end-of-run cleaning records.
Requirements:
- HACCP knowledge or a related scientific qualification
- Thorough understanding of sanitation systems
- Familiarity with manufacturing plant processes and quality control
