Role and Responsibilities for Graduate Structural Engineer:
- Developing outline designs for structural schemes based on client requirements.
- Conduct detailed design calculations using the latest 3D design software and Eurocodes.
- Assist in the production of detailed design drawings and specifications for tenders.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress.
- Undertake structural surveys of buildings and provide expert advice on potential issues.
- Analyse and report structural defects in buildings and structures.
- Review outgoing and incoming documents, such as Contractor's proposal documentation.
Ideal Candidate:
- A degree in structural or civil engineering
- A solid understanding of Eurocodes/regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with UK building materials, methods, and structural behaviour
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
- Experience using AutoCAD or Revit at the drawing/design level
- Familiarity with analysis and design software e.g., TEKLA, SCIA, Master series, and TEDDS.
- Strong desire to grow, develop and learn
