Join us and we'll provide an environment where you can be yourself. An inclusive, digital-first culture that invests in you, gives you a platform for continuous learning, and access to an incredible breadth and depth of opportunities to grow your career.

The future programmes EC&I department designs the Reactor Control and Instrumentation, Power Systems and Plant Sensors equipment across the UK. You will be working closely with the supply chain, the shipbuilder, internal design teams and the internal customer. Electro-Mechanical design engineers from a broad range of equipment design, commissioning and support backgrounds would be considered and specific product-based training will be provided.

We offer excellent development, a competitive salary and exceptional benefits. These include bonus, employee support assistance and employee discounts.

As a minimum we're all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.

What you will be doing:

  • Production of build and commissioning documentation
  • Evaluation of the safety and integrity of the sensor's products
  • Production of safety case design documentation to support the safe operation of the plant.

Who we're looking for:

  • Electrical, mechanical or other relevant engineering qualification
  • Knowledge of Sensor Systems/high integrity controls systems
