This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading niche consultancy who work across a number of projects predominantly in the Public Sector.

The client has a number of live Procurement Manager roles to fill at different levels starting from £45k. The company offers fast progression and unparalleled support and mentorship opportunities.

Key requirements:

  • SC cleared or prepared to go through the process
  • Experience of CCS frameworks and routes to market essential
  • MCIPS and/or Degree level qualification


This role sits with our clients end client with their Commercial team managing a commercial pipeline of approximately £1.3bn across ten category areas, digital & technology, specialist goods and services, learning and development, estates and FM services, travel and conferencing services, office products and services, personnel services, legal services, communications, language services, professional services, consultancy and professional services.

The category teams are supported by the Commercial Policy, Governance and Assurance team to provide an end to commercial advice and procurement service which under pins delivery of every area and you will be required to provide commercial expertise to support the delivery of BAU pipeline activity and increased demand from external funding activity.

A mixed team of commercial specialists are required to provide resource to deliver pipeline demand and support to the core team.

Activity required will be;

  • Review and management of the commercial pipeline across all categories to establish urgent requirements to be allocated to the suppliers team for procurement
  • Allocation of activity, as agreed with the commercial specialists, to support delivery of BAU commercial activity
  • Development of customer requirements and support and advice to ensure compliance to internal and external governance
  • Business case/options analysis development, including market analysis to inform procurement strategies
  • Procurement of goods and services across a variety of categories as above.
  • Update and management of the commercial pipeline and contract database
  • General commercial advice and support as required
  • Management and development of RTD workers to develop commercial capability aligned to GCO best practise
  • Knowledge transfer as and when needed to staff or other commercial professionals
