Are you interested in supporting people who are at risk of falling or have fallen in their own home?
NELFT Waltham Forest Falls Service is the place for you
You will be working alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists & a Nurse in the Waltham Forest Falls Prevention Service.

The service aims to provide falls specific rehabilitation for up to twelve weeks in the home or as part of our Falls Education & Exercise Classes in the community.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Rehabilitation Assistant who wants to use and develop their Falls skills with older people, in their own home & the community.

  • Support the multiprofessional team in the implementation of therapy based Falls specific treatment programmes
  • Work effectively in a team environment
  • Work flexibly over 5 days

Probationary Period

Starting with NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.

All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment.

As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.

The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

High Cost Area Supplement - London

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,108 and a maximum payment of £5,177 per annum pro rata)
