Teacher of French

Required from January 2025

With an emphasis on making language learning a positive experience and a focus the development and practice of oral and comprehension skills, the Languages Faculty at Wycliffe aims to widen pupils' intellectual horizons by providing an insight into other peoples, countries and cultures. Through building communicative competence in listening, reading, speaking and writing, our students thrive through challenging lessons and diverse extracurricular opportunities.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled teacher of French (with the ability to offer an additional language a distinct advantage) to join our eclectic and supportive team. Wycliffe offers pupils from Years 9 to 13 Language options that include French, Spanish, Japanese and German. We will consider applicants seeking both full- and part-time work; candidates should make clear their preference in their applications.

Terms of Appointment

This is a part-time permanent position available from January 2025 (full-time hours are available if teaching alongside Japanese).

Salary (Wycliffe Teaching Scale depending on chosen pension scheme).
