Job Summary
- We are seeking a motivated Enhanced Nurse Practitioner to join our nursing team and deliver high-quality patient care.
Main Duties of the Job
- We are looking for an Enhanced Practice Nurse with a specialist interest in Diabetes or Respiratory medicine.
- The ideal candidate will hold a level 7 postgraduate certification in specialist areas of care.
- We are searching for someone passionate about driving change and innovation in healthcare.

Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver enhanced clinical care and embrace innovation and evolving technologies.
- Focus on evidence-based practice for patients with long-term conditions and acute exacerbations.
- Consult with patients and multi-professional teams to create and assess complex care plans.
- Support patients in adopting health promotion strategies and principles of self-care.
- Participate in clinical audits, research projects, and implement necessary changes.
- Encouragement of professional development and offering internal and external education opportunities.
Person Specification
Qualifications
- Registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council.
- Evidence of post-registration at level 7 or above in enhanced practice area.
- Working at an enhanced level of practice as per the Career and Capabilities Framework.
- Evidence of personal development.
Experience
- Understanding and experience of research and audit.
- Work effectively with a wide healthcare community.
- Critical thinking and awareness of current primary care developments.
- Experience in General Practice and teaching junior staff is desirable.
Knowledge and Skills
- Forward-thinking with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team while demonstrating critical thinking.
- Personal and professional accountability, flexibility, and IT proficiency.
- Emotional intelligence and knowledge of healthcare guidelines.
