Duties:

  • Assemble and fabricate metal components based on blueprints and specifications
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy
  • Operate cranes and other equipment to move and position metal materials
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and other technical documents
  • Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

  • Previous experience in metalworking or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and blueprint reading is required
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for metal fabrication
  • Knowledge of different types of metals, alloys, and their properties
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
