This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive multidisciplinary Occupational Health and Wellbeing team as a Band 6 Occupational Health Specialist, supporting the Band 7 and providing leadership for Clinic Nurses. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Senior Nurse with Occupational Health experience to join the team as they move forward with current Health and Wellbeing agenda for NHS employees and other agencies who we deliver services to.

Exeter Occupational Health and Wellbeing service require a motivated Occupational Health Nurse Specialist with both strong clinical skills and experience in providing advice on fitness to work, health promotion and advisory services. Knowledge of health and safety, vaccination requirements, infection prevention as well as strong skills relating to fitness for work assessments would prove helpful. As part of a wide multi-disciplinary team it is essential you have an in depth understanding of current and future work and health agenda as well as demonstrable experience in undertaking Occupational Health screening, surveillance, delivering immunisations and performing venepuncture (training can be provided).

It is essential you are a good communicator with the skills and ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and expertise. You must also have the ability to convey outcomes with clarity and accuracy either verbally or in writing and be able to work as part of a team and autonomously.

Please note this is a trust wide post necessitating presence across all sites.

Working Pattern: hours per week, Monday to Friday.
