2gether Support Solutions is a Facilities and Estates services company providing support to healthcare professionals caring for over 2000 patients daily across multiple East Kent hospital sites.

2gether provides vital services including maintenance, cleaning, catering, procurement, logistics and much more


Ward Catering Assistants are the lifeblood of the NHS and an integral part of the team, providing high levels of patient service, cleaning, and catering support within clinical areas.

Previous customer service or catering experience would be an advantage. We will cover costs for a DBS check if required for the role.

An example of our current shifts patterns is below:30 hours - Monday to Friday 3pm - 9pm

15 hours - Saturday and Sunday 7am - 3pm

Main duties of the job

  • Carry out housekeeping duties, cleaning, catering and patient services
  • Comply with the Trust infection and control policies, COSHH, Health and Safety and other statutory legislation
  • Take patients' meal orders, serve beverages, change water jugs, ensure kitchen/serving areas and equipment are clean
