London, Greater London, United Kingdom Reds10 (UK) Ltd Full time
An Opportunity to join an award-winning modular construction company as a roaming site quality controller

We are looking for a friendly, motivated and adaptable Roaming Site Quality Controller to join our Reds10 Team, both working and travelling UK wide.

Our guiding principles of being straightforward, personable, agile, restless and SMART steer how we will live our purpose and are the foundation of our commitment to each other.

Reds10 pushes the architectural boundaries, and challenges the 'one size fits all' perception of modular construction.

Due to our dedication to high quality builds, you will play a crucial role within Reds10 to ensure we are working to our highest and best standard.

Your role as a Site Quality Controller:

As a Site Quality Controller, you will be responsible for the recording and reporting of project quality, with a focus on critical evidence and quality hold points (QHPs), specifically with regards to the Site Operations, and Factory Operations directly linked with Site Operations.

You will liaise with the Quality Assurance Manager, following the Quality Management Process to help achieve a 'Best in Class' delivery of our projects.

Alongside the site teams, you will capture the quality requirements as defined in the contents of the Quality Management Plan (QMP), using the AutoDesk Construction Cloud (ACC) suite to capture works such as foundations, bolting, fire stopping and waterproofing.

Working with a practical approach, if you are on site and have the ability and means to do so, without otherwise compromising your ability to complete the critical evidencing process, you may be called upon to assist installing small amounts of remaining critical installation.

Your primary objective is to ensure the installation follows building standards, our details and any employer requirements are met, and the quality plan is being executed with the correct critical evidence recorded to avoid, as far as practicably possible, any major issues arising.

Your accountabilities as a site quality controller at Reds10:

  • Comply with all Reds10 ISO requirements such as following company policies and procedures, attending compulsory training sessions and actively working towards objectives.
  • Check installations against SOPs, best practice guides, and building standards.
Your responsibility as a site quality controller at reds10:

  • Offer guidance and support to the Site teams on the quality procedures and evidence.
  • Communicate awareness of SHP procedures to project members.
  • Undertake audits on SHP and critical evidence, making sure that project information is accurate.
  • Raise issues and correspondence with the Site Operation and Quality teams as necessary, clearly communicating the remedial action required.
  • Work across several projects simultaneously without impacting on the quality of output.
Equivalent work experience of 5 years

  • CSCS
  • IPAF 3a & 3b
  • The ability to operate software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ACC
  • Able to communicate at all levels with colleagues, consultants, site staff, subcontractors and clients
Therefore as a Site Quality controller and a valued employee of Reds10 you will receive:

  • A Competitive salary, with regular performance reviews
* 25 days Holiday (pro-rata) - 3 are kept back for Christmas as the office is closed between Christmas and New Year.

  • After successful completion of probation you will receive: Enhanced Pension Contributions, Private Medical with BUPA, Medical Cash Plan, Cycle to work scheme, Professional Fees reimbursement, Company sick pay scheme, Enhanced maternity and paternity pay (once eligible)
