Operations Finance Business Partner at a Reputable Manufacturing Business in Goole

Elevation Recruitment Group is collaborating with a well-known Manufacturing business in Goole to find an Operations Finance Business Partner for their manufacturing division.

As a key member of the Manufacturing Finance team, you'll have a permanent position at their Howden site, offering a mix of office and remote work.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Finance Manager, you'll support a dynamic manufacturing environment, establishing strong relationships with Site Management, Operations Managers, and Maintenance and Engineering teams to tackle challenges and drive solutions.

Duties will include:

  • Business Partnering with Site Manager, Operations Managers, and Engineering and Maintenance Teams to address budget risks or opportunities
  • Manage manufacturing cost centres by ensuring accurate P&L through period end journals and providing timely reporting and ad-hoc analysis to managers
  • Review and issue weekly reports on labour and material usage
  • Create operational budgets & forecasts for manufacturing cost centres
  • Conduct product costing and maintain standard product costs within SAP
  • Provide financial training to Manufacturing site personnel
  • Engage in project work to support business decisions

Skills and experiences required:

  • Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively with Finance and Non-Finance teams
  • Exceptional relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and IT
  • Ideal to have experience in the Manufacturing sector
