It's an exciting time to be joining the cruise industry with our beautiful fleet sailing around the world with our guests.

We are excited to be recruiting for a Purchasing Assistant to join our Purchasing department on a 6 Month Fixed Term contract.

This position will provide support to the purchasing team, update systems and process all requisitions from vessels and other areas of the business.


Supporting the Purchasing team, you would be assisting with processing all invoices in relation to purchases made, maintaining the purchasing database, handling purchasing documentation and actioning a variety of administration within the team.


Duties will include:

  • To ensure all orders are processed and delivered as required
  • Process all invoices in relation to purchases made
  • Validate invoices and ensure that those invoices requiring secondary approval are finalised before routing back to purchase ledger
  • Assists purchasing department by updating and maintaining vendor / port agent details to the system
  • Administers and validates supplier security lists
  • Undertake any filing required
  • Attend meetings, taking any minutes necessary


This is a Fixed Term position (6 Months) and will be based at our Head Office in Ipswich (Fred Olsen House, 42 White House Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP1 5LL) This is a full time role, working 35 hours a week Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
