Security Operations Analyst
Fantastic opportunity to work with a household name dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience. Joining an innovative and inspiring team, you will be working to support the security incident response process.
You will be involved in the triaging,analysing and investigation of events that have been escalated from the Security Operations Centre.
You will work in collaboration with teams across the various IT functions to act on containment and eradicate threat.Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the security incident response process through triaging, analysing and investigating events.
- Working to eradicate threats and taking container actions when necessary.
- Driving security improvements through utilising security technologies.
- Support BAU activity tasks, such as certificate and PKI Management, Access Management and generating SecOps metrics and reports.
To be a successful you will possess:
- Direct experience or relevant qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Software Development, Networks. Ideally with Cyber Security experience or education.
- Familiarity with the security elements of some of the following technologies:
- Aws, Azure, Cisco and Containers
- Windows, Linux and MacOS
- IDS/IPS
- Cryptography management
- Vulnerability management
- SIEM
- Web Application Firewalls
- Oracle and SQL server.
- Experience with processes of change management.
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written format.
- A real passion for continuous professional development and a positive cando attitude.
Reward:
Salary is £35,000 to £40,000 dependent on experience. There is also a very competitive bonus package ranging between 10%- 25%. You will receive 7.2 weeks holiday per annum including bank holidays - plus many, many more company benefits.
