Purpose of Role

  • As part of the Infotainment and Cockpit Electronics Team you will be responsible for development and delivery of stateoftheart systems for current and future McLaren road cars.
    Principal Accountabilities
  • Facilitate and plan sprints for the Infotainment and Cockpit Electronics Teams.
  • Work closely with the Principal Engineers, Infotainment and Cockpit Electronics Manager to ensure that sprints are clearly defined and prioritized.
  • Be a highly motivated and handson team player with an exceptional attention to detail, diligence, and a positive attitude.
  • Quickly develop skills in new areas and effectively liaise with other engineers within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain a fastpaced development environment and work on bespoke target platforms

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Extensive experience in the development and delivery of engineering systems.
  • Experience of a full product lifecycle management and interaction with other. Systems Development Lifecycle (V Model etc.); defining specifications, DVPs, etc.
  • Ability to produce formal documentation to a professional standard.
  • Familiar with issue tracking tools (Jira, Mantis, Bugzilla etc.)
  • Able to interpret, coordinate and react to project milestones and defined timing plans.

  • Willing to own and push the boundaries of their core responsibilities
  • A UK vehicle driving license
  • Excited to build on the McLaren legacy
