We are looking for a skilled Electrical Project Manager with experience in the rail industry to join our client's growing rail team in Warwickshire.

Our client is a reputable company specializing in mechanical and electrical (M&E) works, civil engineering (Civils), and signalling and telecommunications (S&T) for the rail sector.

This position is available for a long-term contract or as a permanent role, ideal for professionals seeking stability and career advancement.

The ideal candidate will oversee and manage electrical projects in the rail sector, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting high-quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities as an Electrical Project Manager:

  • Project Management: Plan, execute, and complete rail projects within deadlines and budget constraints. Coordinate team members and third-party contractors for project delivery.
  • LV Systems: Demonstrate expertise in low voltage (LV) systems in the rail environment.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the main contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure projects adhere to industry standards and safety protocols.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, providing regular financial reports.
  • Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate resources to achieve project goals.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement processes to maintain work quality and meet customer expectations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide updates to management.

Qualifications and Skills required:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in project management within the rail industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in low voltage (LV) electrical systems in a rail context.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities with diverse stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational abilities with attention to detail.
