Working hours will be Monday to Friday 10am to 1.30pm.

Hargrave Hall Community Centre is a local charity providing services and activities in the heart of Archway, north Islington.


The Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) is a
Government funded programme to provide school-aged children on benefits related free school meals in England with access to free healthy meals and activities over the school holidays.


The aim of the HAF programme is
to support children to eat more healthily, be more active over the school holidays and have a greater knowledge of health and nutrition as well as be more engaged with school and other local services.

Main Purpose and Scope of the Role

  • Responsible for the preparation and cooking on childrens/staff lunches
  • Set up, serve and clear away food/plates when finished.
  • Preparation of healthy snacks onsite.
  • Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean.
  • Ensure Health and Safety and Safeguarding procedures have been followed and incidents reported.

Terms and Conditions
Salary £12.00 per hour

Hours of work: 10am to 1.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Place of work:
Hargrave Hall Community Centre, Hargrave Road, London, N19 5SP

Transport You will be expected to make your own travel arrangements to and from the location listed above.

Lunch and snacks are to be provided

Proof of Eligibility to work in the UK Evidence provided to comply with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 weeks

Part-time hours: 17.5 per week

Salary:
£12.50 per hour
