Working hours are:
Monday - Friday. 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm (rotating)
Overtime is optional and available during the week (paid at 1.3x basic rate) and on Saturday's (paid at 1.5x basic rate)
Pay rate:
£ £12.50 an hour depending on experience
Main Tasks
- Operate Press Brake; including machine setup, selecting tooling, safety checks. Machine programming training can be provided.
- Use of various hand tools and sheet metal machinery in the fabrication and finishing of materials (training will be provided).
- Executing works orders to the required specified quality, accuracy and defined output rate.
- Quality Assurance of components and finished goods by inspection of own work and others. Completion of associated documentation.
- Maintain working area to a high level of housekeeping.
Knowledge & Skills
- Operating a Press Brake.
- Knowledge of LVD and Amada Brake Press ideal
- Good level of numeracy.
- Able to read technical drawings and perform measurements.
- Basic computer skills.
- Workshop and production health & safety practices.
