We are hiring a Quantity Surveyor at a well-established 5-star housebuilder


The Quantity Surveyor role involves overseeing the financial aspects of each project to ensure targets are achieved by effectively managing budgets and valuations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Create initial budgets and site start budgets for assigned sites.
  • Prepare quarterly valuations and 'cost to complete' assessments for each site.
  • Handle sub-contract payments and final accounts, obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Generate sub-contract orders, ensuring proper authorization and documentation.
  • Conduct on-site measurements and assess contractor payments.
  • Participate in various meetings including pre-order meetings and project reviews.
  • Supervise all sub-contract orders on site and maintain trade specifications.
  • Pricing customer extras and collaborating with the sales department as needed.
  • Oversee the Professional Fees Budget.
