The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all installation processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

This role involves overseeing the quality assurance activities related to the installation of passive fire protection systems, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, and maintaining rigorous quality control procedures.

The QA Manager will collaborate closely with installation teams, project managers, and compliance officers to achieve optimal installation quality and performance.


In-depth understanding of quality control procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry standards related to the installation of passive fire protection systems.

Hold professional qualifications with The Institution of Fire Engineers or equivalent.


Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on the installation of passive fire protection products.

Evidence of experience in Fire Safety Design.

Develop and Implement QA Policies:
Establish and maintain comprehensive quality assurance policies and procedures specific to the installation of passive fire protection products.

Inspection and Testing:

Oversee and conduct inspections and tests on-site to verify the proper installation of fire protection systems, including firestopping, fireproofing, and compartmentalization.


Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that all installation activities comply with relevant building codes, fire safety regulations, and industry standards.

Continuous Improvement:
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in installation quality. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective and preventive actions to address installation defects and non-conformances.

Maintain detailed records of quality assurance activities, site inspections, and audit results. Generate reports on quality metrics and trends for management review.

Provide training and guidance on installation quality standards and procedures.

Supplier and Contractor Management:
Evaluate and monitor the quality performance of subcontractors and suppliers. Conduct audits and collaborate with subcontractors to resolve quality issues.

Address quality concerns related to installation promptly and effectively

Risk Management:
Identify potential risks related to installation quality and implement strategies to mitigate these risks.
