We are in search of an outstanding Principal Structural Engineer to become part of our team. Responsibilities
- Lead Structural Design: Take the lead in designing and evaluating water-related structures to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with industry standards.
- Project Management: Oversee projects related to water infrastructure while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize your profound understanding of structural engineering principles to address intricate challenges.
- Quality Assurance: Guarantee the quality and integrity of designs, calculations, and documentation.
- Client Engagement: Engage closely with clients to comprehend their requirements and provide customized solutions.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 8 years' experience.
Proven ability to excel in a multi-disciplinary environment.
An established track record in water-related structural engineering would be advantageous. Demonstrable experience in handling complex designs on projects, particularly in conceptualizing, modeling, and evaluating structural behavior in commonly used construction materials including steel and concrete is essential. Proficiency in timber and masonry design is desirable.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in structural analysis tools and relevant codes and standards.
Experience with design software like TEDDS Tekla, Robot (or similar), and familiarity with BIM protocols are essential. Proficiency in working with STAAD Pro (or similar) and REVIT is desirable.
Leadership Abilities:
Demonstrated leadership in project and team management.
Communication Skills:
Effective verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications:
Relevant engineering degree (e.g., Civil or Structural Engineering) and professional registration.
