The Role

_Gibbs & Dandy - Internal Sales Advisor_

Luton_

As an Internal Sales Advisor, you'll be the face of the business, often the first point of contact a customer has with us.

You will have a port-folio of customers, helping them find the materials they need for their projects and converting these into orders.


You'll get the opportunity to build relationships, negotiate prices and generate sales each day, along with handling cash transactions, placing direct sales orders, organising delivery times and keeping customers informed once their orders are placed - allwhile giving the customer a fantastic service.

But we couldn't give our customers a service they can trust without our people, and this is where you stepin.

You'll join Gibbs & Dandy Luton, our biggest branch in the business, employing over 85 staff.

The branch is well-established and busy, with a friendly team who work hard to offer a great service and excellent product knowledge.

We have a sales office, kitchen& bathroom showroom, warehouse, shop & counter, and thirteen customer delivery vehicles.

In this role you will be working with a an external sales team of five to help deliver sales figures targeted within the branch.

  • Experience of working in an inbound sales role, with a curious and proactive approach
  • Motivation to secure and increase sales orders
  • Management of an existing portfolio of customers
  • A genuine enthusiasm for dealing with customers, and a 'customer 1st' attitude
  • The ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
  • A positive team player
  • The ability to organise and manage workload well
