Purpose of the job

To further establish our in-house Group Internal Audit function, we require an experienced internal auditor to enhance the capability of the new team, deliver audit assignments as part of a small team as well as individually, assist in data analytical work and interrogation of IT systems and collaborate with other governance professionals within the organisation to mitigate risks.

Experience in an assurance role is essential gained from either practice or industry.

Regular travel will be required for the role including international travel (c30%).

Salary dependent on relevant skills and experience.

Principal accountabilities:

  • A logical thinker with ability to use initiative
  • Work collaboratively within a team and autonomously
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Confident interacting with all areas and levels of colleagues within the business

Knowledge and Experience

Essential requirements:

  • CCAB professionally qualified (or partqualified / finalist)
  • Influencing and persuading skills
  • Ability to prioritise own workload
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales
  • Ability to be flexible, and travel to various sites as appropriate
  • Literate and numerate
  • Proficient IT computer skills, including knowledge of MS office packages
