This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced administrator to support the delivery of the Wellcome-funded Future of Human Reproduction research programme.


We are looking for an organised, conscientious and proactive individual with excellent administrative, communication and collaboration skills to join the friendly, vibrant and creative Future of Human Reproduction team.


Working closely with the Future of Human Reproduction Principal Investigator, Partnership and Communications Manager, academics and researchers, you will be a crucial, and highly-valued, member of the team playing a vital, supporting role in ensuring the smooth-running of the project.

The role is varied and you will be responsible for day-to-day administrative tasks; supporting and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders; coordinating and supporting the facilitation of project meetings and events (e.g. workshops, seminars, conferences); contributing to the external-facing presence of the Future of Human Reproduction programme on its website and social media channels; and assisting with the production of project documentation and the dissemination of research findings.


This role is offered on a part-time basis at 0.5 FTE until the end of January 2025, although there is some flexibility to negotiate a slightly increased or reduced FTE.


  • About the Future of Human Reproduction Programme_


The Future of Human Reproduction is a £1,000,000+ research project funded by Wellcome as part of its Research Development Award scheme.

Several new and emerging reproductive technologies have the potential to profoundly disrupt established social practices linked to human reproduction and parenting, as well as the concepts of relatedness and family.

The substantive research aim of this project is to better understand the cultural, ethical, legal, and social issues that these prospects raise.

Through pursing this aim, the project will to develop new modes of interdisciplinary working and novel research paradigms.
