Responsibilities


The role with primarily be focused on planning and coordinating upcoming projects and supporting the Quality & Reliability Programme Managers.

The purpose of the role is to support the planning & managing of reliability programs by providing a specialist project management capability.

The main deliverable is project management support to the Programme Managers.

  • Supporting the development of plans and budgets for vehicle reliability testing programsn
  • Maintenance of existing program plans and budgets
  • Agreeing, specifying and ordering reliability vehiclesn
  • Supporting the Coordination of day to day programme management tasksn
  • Responsible for the maintenance of key project documentsnAnalysis of issues and verification of solutionsn
  • Maintain key project documents to support correct progress of all programmes.n
  • Agreeing, specifying and ordering the reliability vehicles.
  • Support the monitoring of key project deliverables to Reliability Testing.n
  • Escalate / prioritise project issues with potential high to the programme managersn
  • Monitor reliability testing vehicle status and create weekly reports ready to be issued.n
  • Monitor project spend to ensure agreed budgets are adhered to.n
  • Internal process improvement project.
Required skillsn

  • Experience with Whole Vehicle Testing processes and methodsn
  • Experience with Engineering Vehicle Development Processes (PEP)n
  • Experience with understanding detailed Whole Vehicle Testing requirements and estimating required resources and costs.n
  • Experience working Cross Functionally with strong influencing skillsn
  • Experience with assessing planned technical changes to vehicles and determining testing requirementsn
  • Excellent planning skillsn
  • Good PC Skills Microsoft Excel, VBA, Power point. Tableau experience is beneficial.
Qualificationsn

  • Engineering degree or equivalent.n
  • Current driving licence.
